Missing power cords

The recent single package purchase consisted of two mains powered devices (a soldering tool and a de-soldering tool). Neither of which were delivered with power cords. I messaged the Queensland based seller, who agreed that the power cords were not sent. After discussion he is prepared to send EU power cords and AU plugs that I will have to get fitted (to replace the missing cords). However, he wants me to pay additional postage to NSW for these two replacement cords. In my mind, he should be sending the correct cords without charge. Am I wrong in thinking this?

No you're not wrong.

Imo opening a case for Item Not As Described & returning what you have would result in a better resolution for you.

Hi there,  what was the listing number, was the seller registered in china.

Did the item specify  AU cords provided.  Plenty listed with  EU plugs, and while a lot show the EU plug, the actual listings do not include cables.

Be careful before opening an INAD,  you may just lose.

Just remember that if you open an INAD dispute with eBay, if the seller wants their item back they must send you a postage label so that you do not have to pay for the return.

I agree with the others, you should be getting a genuine Australian power cord.
