'Private listing - bidders identities protected'.I've not seen this before in the bidders column?

22 bids,7 bidders & mine the only one identified,what's this about?

The seller has set the listing up as a Private listing so there will be no mention of what the item is or the price paid in feedback.

It is usually used for items of a private nature of expensive collectables.

 

Only you and the seller can see your full ID....everyone else sees it as Private, as you see ll the other bidders.  You can check this by logging out of ebay and looking at the listing.
