Problem with bid

I was trying to bid for some books in the UK but when I was about to bid this message appeared:

"Problem with bid

Unfortunately, this item cannot be posted to Australia. But don't give up just yet - find similar items offered by other sellers. (5010)"

I have to add that the way I look for these books is using ebay UK then save the searches I want to bid, automatically they are added in my ebay AU watchlist. I do this because ebay AU cannot show me the listings that are UK only. In the past, I could bid for them with no problems using my ebay au account and if I won the bid, the seller could modify the postage allowing me to pay for the item afterwards, but today I was shocked that I'm no able to bid at all.

Anyone has an idea of what could change? Thanks!

It sounds like the seller has decided not to post overseas, you could try and message them and ask to be excluded from that restriction.

However, they may have reasons for not selling internationally, if so you should respect those wishes.
