Purchase disappeared

Small item purchased 22/9 from a local seller (same suburb).  No confirmation of postage and queried seller this morning about it.

I have just come back on line and the item and feedback have disappeared.  Due date 1/10/20 so should certainly have arrived. I have no item number to open INR in ebay.

Help appreciated.

I am confused,  you do not have purchase or item details, but you are certain of the purchase and delivery dates and have been able to contact the seller?

If the item has completely disappeared from ebay it sounds like it has been removed by ebay for some reason.

If this is the case you should have received an email from ebay to notify you.  This should have the item number as should any notifications from ebay in regards to the transaction.

As a last resort, find the transaction in paypal, where you can also open a dispute to get your money back.

I had something similar happened to me recently. I been bidding on an item when it was '7 days to go' and then with less than 2 days to go it suddenly vanished. My bids disappeared off the screen completely with every notifications associated with my bids. I checked everywhere in the 'My eBay' screen. Bids & offers and didn't wins etc., all to no avail. I knew it was hopeless trying to contact eBay for an answer and I didn't even have the seller's email address for same. 

The bidding for this item wasn't too overwhelming so I can only presume the seller realised that he wasn't going to get the price that he had hope for so there is only one thing left for him to do. He pulled the plug on the bid. Sometimes when one can provide an explanation it would only very conjectural. Lesson learned.
