Need help with item not received.

I purchased item from 43stiery9 on 7th January, these were supposed to be located in Melbourne.  After sending emails to this seller, had a reply the other day stating that item was in USA and would take 30 days if not longer.  Have just been checking My Ebay out and this item has disappeared from the awaiting feedback list so I clicked onto my buying and they are still in my purchasing list, then I checked out 43stiery9 and have found he is now unregistered with ebay also there seems to be a lot of people who are having the same problem according to his feedback have just lodged a dispute claim with paypal, have I done the right thing and gone through the right procedure, shouldn't Ebay have notified all buyers that this seller is no longer with them.  If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

Yes Chris, you've done the right thing firstly by paying with Paypal and then opening a dispute.

You'll get your money back as the seller is NARU and Paypal will chase him down and recover the money after they've paid you back.

He's in for a big shock if he thought he'd get away with his actions.
