It's far too late to do anything about it now, eBay gives you 30 days after the last ETA and Paypal gives you 180 days past the purchase date. Sellers promising replacements/refunds often don't fulfill those promises and only make them to get you past the time you can claim.
Put it down to experience, I hope it wasn't for too much money.
