Receiving items from Canada via post.

I am currently considering purchasing a jacket from a seller in Canada who has excellent feedback etc.  However I have read in these forums of lengthy postal delays from Canada to Australia.  I would appreciate advise if anyone has current experience in receiving items from Canada.  Should I specify a particular postage service etc??

As long as you pay with paypal you are protected.

If the item has not arrived within 43 days (you have 45days from payment date to do this) open a disputes and this will give you another 19 days for it too arrive to escalate to a claim if need be.

Just remember though if it is not as described and you want the refund the return postage would be a lot to have to return it to get your refund.
