Is this a common occurrence? I could understand it if the buyer left feedback that was outright wrong but in this transaction I did have a lot of problems which were the seller's fault.
I think I am generally fair in giving out feedback, ie. unless the item is posted really late or doesn't arrive at all or is damaged/incorrect, I will give positive feedback, and if I contact the seller about the issue and they resolve it immediately (ie. offer refund or replacement with no fuss), I will still leave positive feedback. In all the times I've shopped on eBay I think I've only left 1 or 2 other negatives, and that was because the item never arrived and I never got any communication from the seller.
In this case, even though I eventually got a refund (though I had to ring PayPal to sort it out), I don't feel that I could give the experience anything other than negative because of the hassle I went through. If they keep contacting me about it, should I report them to ebay or just block them and move on?
