Seller not returning emails after returning item

Hi,

In November 2021 I purchased a used phone from a seller in Sydney with 6 months warranty . On the listing it said it was not compatible with the Vodafone network. I wasn't with vodafone so that was ok. It wasn't working properly from the start, sometimes it was ok, then it wasn't. I got an email from Amaysim (my carrier) to say my phone may not be compatible with the Optus network, which Amaysim use. The listing didn't say it wasn't compatible with the Optus network. When it was dialing it would like pulse, light to dark, then hang up. I went back and forth with the seller a few times then he said to send it back so I did. I had tracking and it was delivered. Since sending it back the seller doesn't return my emails and the eBay system just sends me around in circles unable to contact anyone or do anything. What can I do to get a reply from someone?

Unfortunately, you have probably done your dough.

You are way out of time for an eBay claim.

If you paid through Paypal or a credit card, you could try those avenues, in that order, providing you have proof (a tracking number) that you returned the item.
