Seller using feedback reply function dishonestly

Late last year I was obliged to leave neutral feedback when an item I bought had been listed as new but was not new. The seller waited for a good six months and then left a feedback reply stating that the "new"claim was not made in the listing... meanwhile of course, the listing page has disappeared due to age.

Is there any way to request Ebay to take action against the seller for dishonest and misleading remarks - Ebay could easily check the original listing to satisfy themselves that the "new" claim was made.

Thanks for your advice.

If it worries you so much why dont you see if you can follow up to is and write, "wonder why you had to wait till ad disappeared off ebay to follow up to this feedback? (Shorten it as need be)
