I entered into a purchase by clicking buy it now, after attempting to contact a seller and making offers prior to doing so with no response. I figured clicking buy it now would elicit a response, however it has not. Is there some way to contact a seller other than through the 'contact seller' tab?
No.
What response do you now require from the seller?
Did the seller have Make An Offer enabled on the listing?
If you do not pay perhaps that will lead to a response... in the form of an Unpaid Item Case...idk
I do not believe you were/are not aware Buy It Now means exactly that
You bought it
You pay
The seller has been charged fees on the sale
The seller does not need to contact you
You need to pay
end of
You have now purchased the item and need to pay for it.
Buy it now is not a 'contact tool' - you have entered in to a contract with the seller and now you need to honour it and pay the BIN price.
You agreed to the BIN price when you hit the button confirming purchase
Your actions concern me somewhat. You have been a member for quite some time. Why would you hit "Buy it now" to contact the seller. Not a good idea. If you purely want to make an offer or ask a question you have caused a bit of a problem for the seller who is charged fees as soon as you do it. Do the right thing and pay for the item. If you dont want it resell yourself.
