how to find a transaction from 6 years ago

I'd like to purchase a large item from someone I bought from about 6 years ago. Can't remember seller's name and the purchases list only shows 2 years back.  How do I find older transactions?

Search email address in the inbox of your private email address to find purchases made.

Emails go back alot further.

three years is the most you can go back for paypal and ebay.

But!

Look at your email address and type ebay or sale confirmed and it will bring up all the emails to do with purchases. 

Then just go to the date your want and find the item.

You could try looking at your feedback. I've had to resort to that in the past but now I save sellers I may want again with a note as to what I bought.

If you paid with paypal you should be able to find it there.
