I was bidding on one canoe then got out bidded yesterday and its now up to more than $50 over my last bid. i've now started bidding on another canoe. If all the higher bidders in the first canoe drop out will i still be expected to buy it?
Yes. You are obligated to any listing until it ends, not just until you are outbid. eBay expressly warn against bidding on more than one of the same item unless you are prepared to buy both if you win both.
