seller wont let me bid

Just wondering if anyone has encountered this dilemma

I tried to buy an item using "buy it now" and i got an error message saying the seller wont accept bids from me?

I have 100% positive feedback and have never had a strike and have never had any arguments or issues with anyone at all on ebay

this is for an item within my country

I rung customer service and they said they will ask the seller to remove the restriction and state my record is in good standing.

Im just wonder what restriction could possibly be stoping me buying this item?

In over 10 years this has never happened and I bought something just 2 days ago

I am in a similiar situation. The seller has blocked me in making a bid. It is up to the seller to remove the restriction. If   the merchant does not want my business I will go elsewhere. I tried to buy a stihl power head for my stihl pole saw at $aud139 from a particuliar merchant on ebay.I called this merchant and communicated on ebay via its messaging system. Got no response. I found this power head it available ex China for $usd 27 plus $usd 18 postage. It is the same item. I ordered  the same and now have to wait around 4 weeks for it to come fromChina.Good bye to this Australian merchant who just lost a sale..

I doubt they care since they have blocked you, they don't want to deal with you. Especaially if you then go and phone them. Good luck buying a knock off from China
