Do you have "Grammarly" or another spell checker installed on your computer? My husband had exactly the same problem, couldn't see a thing he was typing. He had "Grammarly"... he un-installed it, and no problem at all then. Just check which programmes you have on your computer, if similar, just un-install or disable, then hopefully it all should work ... good luck !!!
