7-pack item changes to 5-pack in checkout!

Hi folks,

I almost got tricked - I landed on this page via Google, but when I added the 7-pack item to my cart, it magically became a 5-pack item:

https://www.ebay.com.au/p/CURAPROX-CS-5460-Ultra-Soft-Toothbrush-Dental-Curaden-Swiss-7-Pack/1402672...

Seller says they have never sold 7-packs and the problem is not at their end. But there seems to be something very fishy going on. So how do I alert eBay and get eBay to take down the shonky 7-pack page so that no-one is defrauded?

Thanks

Exactly what I was pointing out re the buyer googling rather than actually looking on eBay

There was a buyer not long ago 'expected' the seller to honour an item they found in an old cached page on Google. And eBay support these things of course

Thank you for posting your side of the story. So many sellers get automatc fingers pointed because of the belief 'the buyer said so it's right' with nothing else whatsoever even being considered a possibility. Many buyers still refuse to accept eBay change listings and add things without the seller's knowledge because  'eBay would'nt do that'

It doesn't just happen with googling. It happens in a few categories when you search. This kind of thing first started showing up when ebay said they were only going to show three or four listings when people searched for certain items. It's all part of them forcing sellers to use the catalogue when they do their listings, but it's apparently happening with a lot of other items as well (where sellers are listing the same thing, but not necessarily the same quantity in the listing).
