WARNING
DO NOT BUY FROM A SELLER CALLED REMOVED
She is based in Queensland. She is highly abusive and WILL harrass you, if everything doesnt go her way! I tried to buy an item off her and needed her account details. I had requested 3 times and then decided to cancel, due to being mucked around. Then the 5 abusive messages came through BEWARE

Firstly did the seller actually offer direct deposit as a payment method?
The current listings show the only method of payment accepted is PayPal and therefore as a buyer that is how you need to pay for the item, as other payment methods aren't available.

It seems that you are mucking the seller around. She only accepts paypal so if you are asking for bank account details she has every right to refuse to send them to you.
And you cannot cancel the purchase....only the seller can do that.

Yeah, but...
eBay reckons the buyer is always right, even when shoplifting.
How can the OP not expect to have their every whim catered to when eBay think they are gods?
Noting that eBay don't sell anything but unredeemable promises.

i think if a buyer bought one of my items then contacted me wanting to change the terms or the purchase i'd be not very friendly either, read the listing and abide by the terms its so simple. too many buy then complain because they didnt actually read the listing. all buyers should be held accountable it might stop the complaining. my ethic is simple, you buy you pay as listing states. if you dont like the terms dont press the buy/bid button. or send a message to the seller prior to buying/bidding asking very nicely would they consider doing you a huge favour.

This seller only accepts Paypal. They are not required to change their payment methods to suit you. If you sent 3 messages asking for bank details in spite of the fact the seller doesn't offer that payment method, it may well be that the seller was feeling harassed and responded accordingly. If you are not prepared to complete the transaction using the payment method offered, you should not have purchased, but having done so, do not expect the seller to quietly agree to accept your terms, or to give you the easy way out and cancel. They would be within their rights to lodge an Unpaid Item dispute instead. By seeking to name and shame them in the forums, you have only drawn attention to your own shortcomings.

If someone demanded I hand over my bank details three times when my listing very clearly stated payment was very paypal,I would not be all sweetness and light with my response either
People do not appreciate being harassed
If you did not want to pay via paypal, why bid in the first place?

While I agree in principal if I was the seller I would have sent my bank details asap. No Paypal fee, no buyer protection and no chance of a chargeback.
