Adverting on ebay

I would love to know how much ebay charges for advertising other websites selling what people look up. I myself have started buying off ebay when an add pops up with my item cheaper. With all the fees ebay charges I wonder if it would be better to advertise only and set up a web page off ebay for sellers.

Just go down to the bottom of any page and you will see a line of different subjects - click on the 'advertise' and it should answer all your questions
