Just wondering if I am allowed to name & shame a seller that has scammed me? It was an item that had a shipping ETA of 1 month. I contacted after 1 month when the deadline passed. They responded with "I'm sure it's on its way & delayed in customs but we shall resend please wait another month ". Long short is I was naive & unaware of the 45 day policy... if I have an issue I have to lodge within 45 days however as this was my first bad experience I didn't know & unfortunately gave the seller the benefit of the doubt. He continued to drag things out & assured me there was a delay in customs but would be with me soon. By the time I did lodge a complaint I was too late (ebay not interested & paypal didn't even respond). I am stubborn & feel robbed so continue to send emails to the seller with that same standard responses. Almost 5 months since purchase date clearly there is not hold up in customs & my item will never arrive. I have also looked at his feedback & there is a consistency here & I am not alone. He has many complaints of the same issue of "not received goods". I realise it was a lesson learnt & will probably never get my money back but at the least can I name & shame him so others people can be wary of this seller? Am I allowed to do this?

NO, but you can give us the item description (no numbers, just the title) and we can see who it is.
Which kind of negates the whole 'can't name and shame' really, but them's the rules. LOL

Ah ok thanks! The hard part is they did remove the item listing but sell sooooooo many items on ebay. Just fustrating when looking at their feedback there is a definite consistently ๐ Am I allowed to say their location?

Irrelevant, GC. After five months the listing won't be available in a search. The only avenue the OP has is if they funded their payment with a credit card and if their bank will entertain a chargeback request.

You could search their store and find a recent item number, then post it here.

Oh & unfortunately I paid by paypal using a bank transfer not a credit card ๐ Lesson learnt the hard way! Would you believe the seller is still trying to tell me to be patient & that the item will arrive soon (been hearing that for 5 months lol)

OMG- That seller is one of the worst I have seen. There are way too many negatives, even for a big seller! And who knows how many others have been scammed out of the option of leaving -FB (negative feedback). There is no way I would risk buying anything from them!
Sorry to hear that you lost money and the opportunity to leave negative feedback, they deserve every negative and more!
In future, it pays to check feedback, even if the seller has a high rating it does not mean much for a high quantity seller.
