Amount charged yet not item bought

I’ve been charged $504 from my bank account but I did not buy any items and it happened over night

That sounds like a scam email. I hope you didn't click on any links.

If you did IMMEDIATELY change all your passwords and contact your bank for help.

Nobody here can help you, so don't waste time posting about it - get on to your bank right away and find out what is happening.

Either it is a scam, or somebody hacked your eBay account, or if somebody else has access to your computer and your account (in your household), they might have used it to buy something.

Your account might have been hacked if you ever clicked on any links in a phishing email for example.

If you have your banking app on your phone, you can usually go in and lock your credit cards immediately to prevent any further issues

Good point - OP should clarify if they simply received an email message telling them, or did they actually go and look at their account/credit card. And yes, hopefully they did not click on any message links.
