The server at www.ebay.com.au is taking too long to respond.
Cleared cache, cookies, history, tried CHROME, IE and Firefox - rebooted twice
still nothing - this has been going on since yesterday afternoon - imagine how many sales lost for many sellers

Firefox has problems with firewalls at times,(maybe Chrome has as well?).
Have you checked your firewall to make certain that eBay is listed as a safe site?

Weird, it's not happening to me. You may need to clear the DNS cache-
How to Flush DNS in Windows Using the Command Prompt
Step 1 โ Close all open web browsers and applications on your computer.
Step 2 โ Open the Windows command prompt by selecting the โStartโ menu and entering โcmdโ in the search text field box followed by clicking the โenterโ key.
Step 3 โ At the command prompt, enter โipconfig /flushdnsโ followed by pressing the โenterโ key. After a moment, Windows will display a message similar to: โSuccessfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.โ Once the message is displayed, the DNS will be flushed removing all incorrect entries.
The other way to do this is-
Step 1 โ Close all open web browsers and applications on your computer.
Step 2 โ Press and hold in the Windows icon on your keyboard and press the letter R, enter cmd in the search text field box followed by clicking the โenterโ key.
Hope that helps but it may be an eBay problem.
