Apparently i have $20 to spend on Ebay?

I got a text from Ebay saying i have $20 to spend, and to find it i have to go under /myaccount, problem is, i can't seem to find it anywhere. 

It expires on the 4/12/2018, would anyone be able to help me???

firstly, welcome to the boards .

Simple solution is to just ignore them.

We may not have control over what eBay does, regardless of settings we put in place, but we do have control over how we react to receiving what then amounts to unsolicited offers.

We can chuck a tanty and throw things . . . OR . . . we can be adult about it and say to ourselves "stupid eBay" and then delete the offer and think nothing more of it.

Why do we need to.know in June that someone has their notifications turned off?

Hi Bump.....it is obvious that you have not been around for a while.

This thread is comparatively new.....almost current in fact.   It seems to be "the thing" to find the oldest thread possible and add a post which adds absolutely nothing to the discussion.   The more out of date the original information on the thread the better.

I'm afraid it is going to remain this way until the Mods decide to lock the ancient threads.

Yes David, it is still bad.....and not showing any signs of getting better.

Maybe if we go off topic enough the Mods will lock the old  threads although it is a h*ll of a way to force the issue.

Received unsolicited SMS message about promotions.

I have all advertising/promotional options turned off in my account settings, why was the SMS sent out?! in violation of my preferences!

If I want to know about promotions I will go to the website myself and look.  I DO NOT WANT TO BE SPAMMED/MARKETED/PROMOTED TO!!!

I think EVERY SINGLE MEMBER got the EOFY 'join eBay Plus for deals' message.

So what? When enough (or no) members join Plus, they'll stop spamming us.

It takes a lot less time to ignore a message, or delete an email, than it does to find the boards and jump on the bandwagon post a complaint that nobody at eBay is going to read.
