I buy a product on a regular basis from a UK firm on ebay. I am not a business. It states on the packaging the ‘GST will be paid by supplier’ with their ARN number. BUT according to my bank statement I am also being charged GST by pay pal. Is this correct?
The statement on the package may just be there to indicate GST has already been collected, as technically sellers are meant to mark the packages as GST paid, along with eBay's ABN.
