I bid on an item for $350.20 and the screen and on the screen it showed my highest bid was $350.20. The auction closed and the item went for $307.00 to another bidder. Do I have any redress?

More info needed. Were you the highest winning bidder with a bid of 350.20 or was that amount showing as your highest bid? It all comes down to the final few seconds of an auction.

Please disregard the last entry. I had bid $350 and it had been accepted by ebay. I lost the auction.

Please post the item number here....it is nearly impossible to guess what went wrong in this case without looking at the bidding history.

Sorry  for the confusion. I watched the countdown until the last seconds. On the screen Ebay said my bid was $350. The auction ended and the other bidder won at $307. I went to the bidders and my entry of $350 had not been accepted. I don't understand what happened. Number 121415291963.

I can only surmise that you did not confirm your last bid of $350

I put the bid in whilst the other bidder was on about $250. On the ebay page it stated my highest bid was $350.20. I watched until the end and I was still highest bid of $350.20. The auction ended and the other bidder won on $307. I suppose it is what is called tough luck. I did do the correct thing and confirmed bid.
