I would not bid without knowing postage

avoid... there is no reason imo that the seller couldn't have told you a postage cost.

If the seller is in the USA they are probably using the GSP and the seller is right.....he has no idea what the shipping charge will be as that is added by Pitney Bowes. All the seller knows is the amount that it costs to get the item to Pitney Bowes and I believe that is usually free.

I am wanting to bid on an item but the postage for it isnt on the listing. I emailed the seller and asked what the postage was (it was from theUSA) and they told me it would automatically show when I do a bid. So in that case it could be expensive, reasonable, or cheap(a bit like mama poppa and baby bear). So now if I bid and win the postage may be a lot and I might decide I dont want to purchase.
Any suggestions please!
michelle, I would message the seller and tell that in the absence of a definite postage cost you will not be bidding.
Move on and find the item from another seller.
