Buy now pay later??

Ok... I have just been told by someone that Ebay is now offering Buy Now Pay Later... Is this true???

As far as I know, the option is only available on US eBay to (credi-approved) US residents.

This is the only info I know about Buy Now - Pay Later available on eBay: http://billmelater.ebay.com/, which states it's only for US buyers and sellers, and I'm not able to find anything in relation to it being offered on eBay Australia. Is your friend definitely referring to a service offered on AU eBay purchases?

i dont believe  that, who would wait 3 weeks to get paid unless it was pre arranged between  the seller and buyer

Well, when it comes to credit arrangements such as the one on US eBay, there's no negotiation, it's just like someone paying for a purchase with a credit card - the payment is credited to the seller straight away, and the buyer repays the bank (or in the case of Bill Me Later, PayPal) afterwards.

if the seller got paid by the buyer straight away its ok and if they paid the bank later it should be fine

Many buyers are under the impression that buy now means pay when I feel like if at all.

Yes. Its through Paypay. We use this option all the time
