Buying Vouchers

has anybody else noticed buying vouchers from eBay that appear on their "My eBay" page and drop-down menu but not explained through an eBay email?  I would have thought that eBay would promote these via email so that more people use them to buy on eBay.

I had one that expired last week, and now on one of my IDs I have a 10% voucher (up to $50 value) while on another I have a $10 off voucher for any purchase above $40.

I guess it pays to check often seeing as there aren't email notifications of these vouchers.

Yeah I have used them occasionally but more often than not they are for categories I never buy from.

I had one pop up for a certain store after I put one of their items in my cart but didn't check out - could've been a coincidence, though.

the two coupons/vouchers I showed in my Opening Post are not store or category specific.

It just seems strange that eBay doesn't send out emails letting members know that they have these vouchers.  They would not be seen by members that do not sign in very often, and would be a lost opportunity for eBay to generate sales.

I have just discovered that if I look at My Ebay while signed into the boards, any vouchers do not show even if I am also signed into ebay itself.

I have to leave the boards and go to ebay to see the vouchers.

Goodness only knows haw many I might have missed because I had no idea that being signed into ebay and the boards did not show the vouchers.

yep, same thing for me, they only show when I am on my "My eBay" page.  Scroll down the "My eBay" page and they have their own heading

Look at my feedback number. I never get any coupons, offers, discounts ANYTHING since that voucher that brought me onto the boards.

If one spends one can just suffer, evidently.

Amber, I am the same.....I only get the vouchers that anyone can qualify for by spending money to earn the right to have a voucher.

Depressing, isn't it?

Very...always nice to have a reason to buy something that's just that bit too much as is 😉
