I have been messed around by a seller who has promised a refund "tomorrow" a number of times but they are just been stretching it out until 60 days are up and I can't leave feedback. This is a $31.90 refund of postage which they agreed to pay. They were going to pay again on Tuesday 28th but it didn't happen so I wrote and pointed out that I was aware of the 60 days for feedback etc. and if they are not going to refund just let me know (in time) so I can finalise this matter ACCORDINGLY. I got a quick reply saying they would pay up today. If they do pay then it might not get to my account before Monday which is spot on 60 days which is cutting it too fine.
Date of sale was the 5th December but December and January have 31days each bringing me to Monday 3rd Feb (inclusive I hope) for the 60 days.
Is there a way to extend this 60 days?
Thanks in advance.

Why feel mean about exposing a bad seller? You are the one who was ripped off.
Don't leave it too long or the opportunity to leave feedback may disappear.

hello.
No. 60 days is the limit.

NO, it will cut out at the 60days to the actual minute from the purchase.
so do it soon if you are going to leave a neg.
you could have made a paypal claim within the 45day cut off period and had your money back by now.

Leave the feedback now....if you do get the refund by the promised date you can change the feedback if the seller sends you a Feedback Revision Request or you can add a followup comment. Do not wait till the last minute to leave feedback as it can disappear early.
If the seller does issue the refund you will get an email from paypal immediately so you can be pretty sure they have not yet issued it. You can be pretty sure they are just stringing you along till the 60 days is up.....do you really believe them after all this time?

Hi, Thanks everyone, This morniing I received $27.40 of the $31.90 - seems they didn't like paying the insurance. I wont be leaving feedback because its a case of Less said sooner mended. In any case the feedback space was too small for all that I wanted to say. Thanks again.

Why come to the boards for advice if you don't want to take it?
Sorry, but by not leaving any feedback at all you are effectively saying that the transaction was fine and the seller will go on his merry way trying to rip off other buyers. And you did not get the full refund you were owed.
You can leave feedback saying something like "Only received partial refund after long wait".
I am sure there are other posters who can come up with other feedback that you might like better.....just don't let bad sellers get away with it....you are not doing anyone any favours.

I tried to take your advice but when push came to shove and I felt so mean I just deleted it. I said " A two month nightmare of lies and deceit" but maybe just mentioning the short changing would be better. Thanks.
