Yes.

As long as it more than 12 hours until the auction ends or within an hour of the initial bid.

As Dave has said but there are stipulations added:

You made a typographical error in your bid, like entering $50 instead of $5. You must re-enter the correct amount.

The item's description changed significantly after you placed your bid.

You haven't been able to reach the seller (emails come back, or calls don't go through).
