Can't buy and can't contact seller

Hi, I have this problem:
I want to buy an item from the seller (I have already bought from him once in the past) but when I click on Buy it now button, this message appears: "The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you."

I immediately thought that he could have blocked me for some reason, but he had no reason to do so - the last time I bought from him, everything went perfectly, we gave each other positive feedback (we both have 100% overall). So I wanted to contact the seller and politely ask him why this is so or if it is a mistake, but he cannot be contacted, this message always appears: "Unfortunately this seller is not able to respond to your question".

What should I do? Is there any other way to contact him?

Well, if you are sure it is a mistake (mistakes happen, maybe the seller wanted to block someone else and blocked you), you could use another account to contact the seller. Multiple accounts are allowed apart from trying to circumvent blocks, but if you are sure it is a mistake maybe it is OK.

I assume the block is not because of non-payment strikes, as if this was the case you would not be able to bid, but you would be able to contact the seller.

Is the seller in Australia? Some sellers located overseas who don't post to other countries block buyers from other countries from bidding and contacting them. Maybe the seller posted to Australia in the past, but not any more, and this could be the reason for the block if the seller is located overseas.

As you are in Czech Republic, it is quite possible that the seller is no longer posting overseas at this point in time 

How long ago was it you bought from them?

A few moments ago, I asked my friend (also from the Czech Republic) to check if the item can be purchased from his account - and it works without any problem. That indicates he probably blocked me (for some unknown reason?)  

So I will probably ask my friend to buy the item for me from his account.

And you have basically told the OP how to circumvent a block. Here, this is how you can try to avoid detection by doing the wrong thing. Blocks are in place for a reason. No regular here should be telling anyone how to get around blocks, regardless of where they are in the world. The seller has blocked the OP for a reason, whether deliberate or accident. You shouldn't be telling them how to get around said block because that's a violation of ebay policy, and you know it.

Oh, both you and I and most of the members here, know what point I was making. 

I’m just a tad stunned at you hurling abuse at another board member who has suggested using another account. 
At least the OP asked a friend to purchase for them…. So…. No rules broken by the OP 😏

I find that there is a few members who like to hurl abuse at others. I have pointed that in the past and always get deleted. See how long this one will last. And yes it was obvious the point you were making and you also stated  "Multiple accounts are allowed apart from trying to circumvent blocks" For me that was not hard to understand and help the other op.
