Report the seller, leave an appropriate comment alongside a red dot, and source your item elsewhere.

If you'd already paid, the refund will go to your  original funding source and  it may take a few days.

Out of curiosity, without giving the seller's name, what is the item number  ?

Is this the seller who left you feedback most recently who has 22 negs in the past month alone?

If you buy from dodgy sellers, you need to expect dodgy behaviour, like all the negs and nests they have from so many others

Stop supporting such sellers and you will have far less problems

Do as others have suggested.

Report, give negative feedback, buy elsewhere. And check you get your refund.

If you don't, come back here.

I can see you look as if you rarely use ebay so can I just add this:

When you are looking to buy something, you really need to check out the seller's feedback and the seller's location.

It can take a bit of clicking through links to get there. But if you click on the seller's name in an ad, you should come up with something like this (I took this from the last seller who gave you feedback).

When you get to a section like that for any seller, you can click on the 'About' tab and it will tell you where the seller is registered. That is important as you want to avoid China if you can. No warranties and loads of trouble if anything goes wrong and you need to return a faulty product for a refund.

Easier to stick to sellers located in Australia, when you can.

Next look at the % of positive feedback. Click on that link, go to the bottom, keep clicking till you can see all the negs for that person and then decide if you still want to buy.

You will often see a note in the About section that will label a seller as one of ebay's most reputable. Never take that as true, it usually just means the seller has sold a lot of stuff on ebay. It doesn't mean all buyers are happy with the stuff or have had a good buying experience.

You need to read all the negs and look at that %. If it is a big seller and it is getting under 99%, there may be problems and it is worth double checking. I know 98.9% seems good but in ebay world, it may not be. Always check before you buy a thing.
