Cancelling Transactions for no reason once you have paid?

Hello are people allowed to just cancel a purchase once you have paid for no reason? It has happend to me several times I believe that they didn't get the amount of money that they wanted?

No, they are not, and if that happens not only should you report it to eBay, but you should also refuse to accept the seller's cancellation notice so that at the very least it will cost them their FVFs and listing fees.

Also, come 20th August, their seller performance standards will suffer if they cancel for reasons other than that the cancellation is requested by the buyer. You will then be able to 'award' those sellers a low seller rating specifically for such cancellations and they will be able to see exactly why they received the low rating.

In addition, I neglected to mention that you should also leave them negative feedback with only one DSR star in each category as that will not only punish them for mucking you about, but it will also warn future prospective buyers that this is a seller who can't be trusted to do the right thing, and by not accepting their cancellation request you also ensure that any feedback you do leave can't later be removed by eBay. We neither need nor want these sorts of sellers on eBay.
