I've been ebaying for donkey's years and I'm keen on sewing, but NOT quilting. It's incredibly frustrating trawling through thousands of ads for fabric to find some that is not handkerchief size (AKA fat quarter). Isn't it about time "Fabric" was split into separate categories for sewing and quilting. As it is I've pretty much given up looking for fabric on ebay!

I come from an old world when we called fabric 'material'.
When you do a search for dress material, then on the left hand side it shows 'fabric' - I click on that and don't see any quilting fabric... At least not in the first few listings. ๐

In the real world I still call it material too. That's what I first typed in my post....then I changed it. ๐

I don't know if it is the same in craft but in books I have to pay a fee to be more specific.
All you get free is fiction non-fiction etc, I wanted to put in cookbook for example instead of using non-fiction and found it cost an additional fee.
All that used to be free by the way!
Now money is grubbed from anywhere they can.....

Use sub-categories, they're free. Under 'item specifics'.
