2 months ago I bought an electric blanket, and last week it stopped working. I tried all power points but the thing is dead.
Ebay told me I had exceeded their time frame for claims and to go to Paypal.
The seller offered me a refund IF I sent it back at my own cost, so I asked him to send me a postage lable as it wasn't fair that I should be out of pocket for a faulty product.
Dead silence followed from him so I escalated the claim and Paypal said the same, to send it back at my expense .
As it will cost me at the very least $15 to post it back I hardly think it's worth it and I'm considering a Chargeback but have never done t.
Is there a time frame for this does anyone know?
(I'm being lazy as I can prob find all this out after the weekend but am keen for any advice_)_
Is it worth trying it?,

Shoulda signed up for PayPal's $45 capped free returns offer before you opened the case.
Chargebacks have different time limits depending on the bank. 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, I've even heard of a scenario longer than 6 months.
Give Paypal a call and ask if you can still redeem their offer for this case. They may be flexible.
It's 8 returns per year.

Yes Digi, a bank chargeback requires the item to be returned to the seller with tracked postage and a signature required....making it more expensive than returning it via a paypal dispute.
It is OK for very expensive items but probably not for an electric blanket.

Was the blanket bought new or second hand?
