Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me how pricing works.I am looking at purchasing a product and when I searched for it, the price was $23. But when I actually choose the one I want in the little drop down box, the price goes up to $80....is that not false advertising?
Thanks,
Jo

The seller is using the multi variation listing format where the price can change depending on the option the buyer chooses.
The couple of listings I checked out looked to be within ebay guidelines.

Can you post the item umber so we can see it.
This is permitted on some things but not all and yes can be very misleading and wrong most of the time.

I can't actually find an item number on it. The seller is from India and their id is trackexports.

Hi ajl the seller ID will be romoved shortly. You cannot name the seller here. The item number is on the listing you want. Near the Bottom right hand of the listing. Could you search for the number and we can then be of more help. They have 100's of items for sale.

Ok so it is just deceiving but not breaking any rules. Thank you for your help. I will delete this since I posted something I shouldn't have. ๐

You can't delete the thread, only the moderators can. They won't remove the thread unless you send them a message and ask them to, but they will come along at some point and just remove the sellers name.
