Is it just me or do other people find that the price people are trying to sell sold out baby bonds clothes not nice. These people are going and buying bulk lots of the baby bonds clothes then re-selling them on ebay for $150. I think this is so immoral. firstly they are buying in bulk and geniune people that just want to buy an outfit for their child miss out. Then they go and try and make a huge profit from them. I get that, that ebay is for making a profit and that people don't have to pay that much, but I honestly think its not very nice that they are buying them in bulk and making them sold out, just to make a profit.

Hi, I just did a search for new baby bonds clothes and there was only one listing for $150.00. This was for fourteen items of new Bonds baby clothes. If you wanted them, that would probably be a reasonable price to pay, judging from the many other listings for single items of Bonds clothing which range from $5-$20 each.
I dont have a problem with sellers buying in bulk and then selling off individual items or small lot sizes at a profit. After all that is exactly what just about every shop in the country does. ( think Woolies, Kmart or your local sports store or butcher ). Its also how I and many others run our online businesses. There is a lot of work in sourcing bulk stock, listing and packing it and communicating with potential buyers.. The seller has to make a reasonable profit to cover their time and expenses.

Search "bonds baby" and you get a number of listings of jumpsuits that are in a 'rare' pattern design for $160+ ....... extraordinary !!! But if a buyer is willing to pay such $ that is purely their choice .......... I couldn't believe buyers would pay such $ until I clicked on "completed listings". That will knock your bonds cotton socks off !!!

If you think buying in bulk and selling at a healthy profit is not "nice" thn presumably you don't buy clothes from anywhere but create your own fabric and sew them yourself. How much do you think those Bonds items cost at the point of manufacture? Probably a few cents, they get on sold several times each time with a huge markup until they are finally bought by the end consumer.
Many clothes have a mark up of over 1,000% by the time they reach a shop (or ebay seller) as the return has to cover the cost of unsold stock, shop lifted stock, damaged stock etc on top of paying for staff, premisses, fuel and all the other expenses of a retail outlet.

Actually it's reasonable for a seller to start an auction at A$20 for a Bonds Unicorn Zippy Size 2, but bidding up to A$95,100 ..........that's the buyer freely giving huge profit to the seller, of their own choice ............. thats the sort of stuff financial advisers keep to themselves.

no not the ones that start low and then people bid on. the ones that are buy it now for $150. Like I said I get that no-one is making them pay that much etc etc. Just think its bad form. Maybe it just me :S.. if anyone buys them they are going to be annoyed because bonds are re-releasing some of the ones that are up for $150.

I don't think making a profit is not nice and I said that. Its the fact that they are buying them in bulk and making them sold out before people can purchase them and then selling them on ebay for $150 that is not nice.
