Anyone have this situation? I bought 4 dormant grape plants at the end of January. But they don't come out of dormancy until the weather warms up, so that was late April through May where I live. 3 of the 4 plants came out of dormancy and started growing, but the 4th never did, it was dead. I have messaged the seller, and they will not reply.

Maybe ask on the forum for eBay USA
End of January is still our summer here in Australia
Not sure what the seller would do after all this time, they are not obligated to do anything

No, but I guess I buy all my plants from a reputable nursery, where if there is a problem, I can take anything back, I would never buy plants from Ebay in particular ones that wont wake up until well past the MBG, its a bit like buying electronics stuff. IMO.

As ' Meatloaf ' said - 3 out of 4 ain't bad. LOL

So it's plant, not plants. Hyperbole to start.
You are well out of time for eBay's MBG. Take cuttings from the 3 good plants and soon you will have 6. You could always pay the seller another 50% to cover that windfall.

Great idea. Thank you. I can propagate them and sell to cover my losses, but why would I pay the seller? I already paid them for a dead plant.
When I wrote the title, it was just a general question in reference to "dormant plants."

Yea.. now I know!

I use local nurseries 99% of the time, but this was a plant I could not find anywhere else except from a nursery a state away would have charged $200 including delivery (as opposed to Ebay which was $25).
My lesson is, never again... or risk loss.
Thanks for your reply!

Oh jeez, I thought I was on the USA forum! Sorry about that.
The seller doesn't want to do anything...
