You might need to elaborate a bit more. You are not talking to eBay here, we are just other members like yourself. If you can tell us exactly what the issue is, we can then hopefully tell you what to do.

Because eBay (or any other business) doesn't know your bank account has no money in it. It is a direct debit. Furthermore eBay would have sent you an invoice for your seller fees indicating when the money will be taken out of your account. It is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient funds so your bank account doesn't get overdrawn

eBay can NOT access a bank account without approval no matter what.
Said account will also not go into 'negative' unless you have an OD facility with your bank.
Paypal, on the other hand, can withould funds, and can charge a CC/DC that is linked to your paypal account if fees are to be paid or buyers are awaiting refunds etc.
I take it you are referrring to your PP account, as other posters have mentioned more info is needed.
If it is a personal bank account, you need to visit your bank ASAP

So what do you think that they should do, if you owe money to someone, either them, Paypal or a buyer.
Just say 'Oh, her account is empty, we can't make her give the money she owes someone'.

I had ebay fees come out of my bank account once and there was no funds in it. Paid an o/d fee as well. My mistake. The fees were late being taken out and I had forgotten about them.
