Ebay interference

Why does ebay send me an email stating my purchase is on its way when the next day the seller refunds my money without explanation? forcing me to give them a neg. If ebay doesnt know what its talking about then butt out and stop trying too hard. Its STUPID!

The email would have been triggered by the seller either marking the item as posted or adding a tracking number. It is bot-generated and triggered by specific SELLER actions.

Nobody FORCED you into leaving a neg either. That was your choice.

I am guessing seller marked as posted when they were about to pack and send then discovered it was O.O.S.

And as dave suggested when it was marked as sent, the eBay auto system sent an email.

Why would you want to destroy a sellers reputation with a neg? you recieved you money back  just move on
