Hello!
Have purchased a car part that I could not find locally. The FASTEST item i could get was in the UK - I am in Australia.
Postage estimated it would arrive within a decent time frame. Everything else was an extra week or two wait.
Item purchased 19 Feb. Estimated arrival 27-28 Feb.
So I threw $106.69 at Express postage (item cost $106.60 so the postage cost more than the part!)
It is now nearly 5th of MARCH and I still havent received the item.
There is no tracking (which is RIDICULOUS) and they have so far ignored 2 emails to them asking to chase it up for me.
IF the item arrives soon - Can I get a refund on the postage? I am happy to pay for the goods - but the postage has not been even close to what was advertised and the ONLY reason i purchased it was the for purpose of EXPRESS postage..
I have not taken any action against the seller yet. I do not like to leave negative reviews if they are not earned.
But I have yet to hear back from them about it. If it does not arrive by the 9th (end of this week) then i will be starting a claim.
I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me if its worth kicking up a fuss about to try get some money back or just leave a negative review and move on..?
Thanks, Matt.

Sorry for not checking back in everyone.
According to the online tracking it took under 2 days to land in Australia. If it was sent on time it would have arrived around about when I was expecting it.
no need to apologise for not posting here every day.
Your seller did say they needed to contact their supplier, which may explain the delay in actual posting. There is no excuse for a seller marking as posted when it hasn’t been.
Did the package come direct from the supplier or from the seller? What paperwork was included?
I only ask as a follow-up for a previous post of mine (post # 54).
As I posted on that post, don’t rush into leaving feedback. Sleep on it for a day or two.
I’m glad your hoses arrived in good order.

the seller might not have had the hoses in stock, which would be something they should communicate if that is the case. They did reply to an early request for tracking that they had to email their supplier, so at a guess I would say the delay may have been caused by the time it took for it to arrive from the supplier to your seller.
Also, don’t forget about the extreme weather. It may not have had a direct affect, but it may have been indirectly responsible for some of the troubles with this transaction.
Another factor that may need some consideration . . . . . . if you ever need to source hard-to-find hoses again, can you afford to be placed on this seller’s Blocked Buyer List? Leaving anything other than positive feedback may result in this being your last ever transaction with this seller. If you decide to leave a positive, it might be something that references the item rather than the actions of the seller (this is why I had advocated waiting a few days before leaving feedback, so you can have time to consider the transaction from a whole range of angles).

"It's not like they ripped me off". You paid a lot extra for a service you didn't get, ie. express post.
Don't let the thought of them blocking you stop you leaving honest feedback as you may already be on their blocked list, and as you've said, you wouldn't buy from them again anyway.

If you don't intend to buy from that seller again you can as well leave them the neutral fb you were considering, as it doesn't matter if they block you.
You could still try and ask for a partial refund (the difference between normal postage and express postage) before leaving fb and explain you didn't get the service you paid for.
