Fraudulent Seller I lost $1350AU

I have been scammed and lost $1350AU which is about $1000US. The scammer listed an Ipad pro and provided the only option for payment to be direct bank transfer. I decided to proceed with the transaction using the bank details provided through the ebay site itself. I based my decision to proceed on the seller feedback.  The seller was shown as a member of ebay for 10 years and had 115 feedback items all positive some of which were highly commlimentary. Soon after I paid I recieved an email from ebay who had just identified this seller to be suspicious and immediately de-listed the the item I had just paid for. I have put in a non-delivery complaint to ebay and made an official compliant about the seller. I have also request return of the money through my bank as the transaction was conducted within Australia. Unlikely to to have any success there. This is a considerable sum of money and ebay have not responded to any of my complaints. Is there any other way I can contact ebay and ask for immediate action about this scammer.

Re: Fraudulent Seller I lost $1350AU

It's long since been deleted, but the basic (ebay friendly) jist of it was that they claimed to have footage of my camera filming me...uh, perusing certain sites, and... responding? to what I was viewing.

One of the phrases I do remember was "OMG you have good taste", so they were complimetary as well as extortionate, at least. Smiley LOL

Spoiler
Just for the record, what they claimed was impossible for multiple reasons, plus my computer doesn't even have a cam. Smiley LOL

Haha I got that too Digi, they said I was on webcam doing disgusting things. I don't have a webcam. ☺️ I just deleted it and changed that password on anything I had it for but it was an old one that I hardly used anymore anyway.

Yes, that standard piece of ridiculousness was sent to me as well.

I also don't have a webcam.

I don't go to porn sites.

The password was - as digital*ghost related - from a breached website that I think I visited last about 8 or 9 years ago. I generate my passwords uniquely. The standard bot-sent email might have caused my right eyebrow to lift by a millimetre, if that. It was so obviously phishing.
