Hi all
i just purchased an item from a store seller with multiple same items. The item was described the same on their own website. After i purchased the item i checked back later for postage details and i discovered that the item description had changed as well as all images. The same changes had occurred on their website. The original item description listed a heap of accessories included with the item - the new revised item version removed all of the accessories. I cannot seem to find a way to view the specific item description (and/or the changes made) as it was when i purchased the item?
Can someone please provide advice as to how ebay handles this?

When you look at the item in your purchase history there should be a link to "see original listing" at the top.

Hi, sorry to hear of your dilemma. When the package arrives, what you receive may differ from the picture. If the written description differs from what you have received then you do have grounds for a case though eBay and potentially PayPal if unsuccessful there. That's if you payed via PayPal.
As far as an auction / sale being visually misleading, I can't share any personal experiences of having claims with that. Well, none that I can remember. However, I did once buy an item thinking I was getting two as that's what was shown in the picture. I only received one and feeling a little hot under the collar I went back to look at the original listing. Sure, there were two in the [pic. But written not so obviously or so eye-catching was just a reference to one item. I think seller only had one for sale. Why he had two pictured i don't know. Perhaps he had two for sale originally or he used a stock picture. Yes, it was misleading.
Anyway, best wishes with your purchase, I hope you get satisfaction if there's a route you have to follow.
