Reported this item a couple of days ago but auction ran its course, Samsung UN65ES8000 3D Slimline HDTV, free freight from Germany, Bank deposit or transfer method of payment, Chinese Bank account. 36 bidders, winning bid was $2275.00. Hope it's worth the risk. Sounds "too good to be true" I reckon. Wonder how long it takes for reported items to be investigated? Been quite a few of these German listings for various tv's appearing, maybe I'm being to cynical?

I almost got caught by one of these scammers a while ago, stopped payment and cancelled transaction. I am a relative new boy on the block with this type of situation, I took a quick look at listings over the weekend and there were several listings using the almost identical methods, all of the auctions ran their course, even after I reported them and I wonder how many buyers got caught out and lost their money.

"Been quite a few of these German listings for various tv's appearing, maybe I'm being to cynical?"
They're all fraudulent listings for non existent items listed by scammers ,usually on hijacked accounts, using copy/paste of real sellers' listings.
Reported again.

Sometimes it takes a few reports so when you see them, if you put the titles ( only) on this thread, more members will report them:

I've reported quite a few over the last 7 to 10 days but have yet to see listings withdrawn, they all seem to run their course. Locate them, report them but nothing seems to happen? Anyone known how long Ebay takes to investigate a sus listing?

Just took a look and didn't take long to find another sus listing, LG Cinema Screen 55LM860055 inch Cinema 3D Dual Core LED-LCD HDTV. German listing, free freight, etc, etc. Reported it, see how this one goes.
