I have tried to make a purchase from a UK seller who has listed my country as one that can be shipped to via GSP. (I've had no other problems with GSP from the USA to my country - New Zealand).
I get this warning when I hit the "Buy it Now" button:
Attention Buyer:
Items cannot be shipped to certain destinations using the Global Shipping Program for several reasons, including remoteness and difficulty of reaching the destination. It appears that the address you have chosen is a destination that the Global Shipping Program is unable to service.
Please confirm that the address you have listed is correct. If so, please choose an alternate shipping method and ensure your shipment complies with applicable laws.
Any ideas how this can be fixed? I have emailed ebay twice and they never answered. Also emailed the seller, but they haven't been able to help, or don't know how to.

The seller can 'opt out' of the GSP
This setting works for US sellers. It should work for UK sellers also -
(My eBay summary page)
account > site preferences > shipping preferences > Offer the Global Shipping Program > edit > no
Then they can send via Royal Mail.
Whether they want to is another issue though
Good luck

Thanks, I'll try that and hope the seller will be OK with it.

It is my understanding that the seller cannot opt out for an item that has already been purchased. If that is so then the seller would have to cancel the transaction and relist without the GSP delivery.
May I ask what the item is, there are some restrictions on items that can be sent from the UK to Australia.
