Has anyone had experience with defective GPS units purchased from eBay seller <REMOVED>?
I purchased a GPS from this seller that operated for less than a month, and this seller has been extremely difficult to deal with regarding replacement and has told me this is a common problem with their product! - absolutely no credibility as far as I'm concerned

If you paid with P{ayPal, you have 45 days ion which to raise a claim with them

When the boards were a lot more active there used to be a lot of complaints about GPS systems which worked initially but then were discovered to have pirated software so could not be updated plus they usually failed fairly quickly. It is especially dificult to get any resolution as they often come from China and because they contain a lithium battery you cannot return them using Aus Post.
If you paid with Paypal then you can open a dispute if it is still under 45 days, you will then have to return it to the address given by Paypal, if it is overseas then you will have to call Paypal and argue your case for not returning it.
If it is over 45 days your only chance is if you funded the payment with a credit or Visa debit card, if that is the case you can try your card provider for a chargeback.
