Since the intoduction of this service items arrive in Australia and then can spend weeks (more than a month) sitting in storage before finally being forwarded on.
I now will not buy from a seller who uses this service. I am changing to Aliexpress where items are arriving much quicker.

I bought 2 items last Sunday from a seller using that service.
Never used it before so it remins to be seen how fast or slow it is.
I was not really expecting the items any time soon anyway.

Have you considered the COVID-19 pandemic?
Have you considered that due to that, Customs is doing their job more rigorously? Thus delaying clearance of items through our borders.
There are plenty of anecdotes on the boards about Customs delays, and COVID-19 delays, but I suppose they don't apply to you as you bought something and neither rain nor hail nor sleet nor snow nor Customs nor plagues should delay your cheap Chinese junk.

Davewil, wrong time of year for snow I'm afraid, particularly at our ports of entry.
But from where the OP's item is coming from?

Orange Connex (SpeedPak) is another 4PL (Forth Party Logistics) carrier. eBay are attempting to provide a complete 'B2C' service that integrates with their platform for predominently Chinese sellers for faster delivery of items to buyers.
They are no different to any of the other 4PL providers and all they do is airfreight consolidation of sellers parcels to the destination countries postal network, Royal Mail, USPS, Australia Post, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Canada.

Snow forecast here for Thursday and Friday. I'm not at a port of entry though.

This company now (Sept/Oct 2021) also offers Australian sellers storage, pick, pack and post service, alowing them more freedom in their ebay stores.

I have had 4 problems with Orange Connex in the past 4 months. Anything from China is a disaster.
resend, resend, re-issue, refund, and start again. What is unethical is listed as local stock and then sent via orange connex from china. eBay don't care about the false advertising.
