To which address did you return the item, and did you do so via registered mail, as advised?

You should only ever return items to the address provided by Paypal, as the seller could give you a dodgy address and you'll never see your item nor your money again.

So who provided you with the return address... the seller or Paypal?

Hi,

As requested by the seller as a reply to ebay enquires for a solution to our dispute.

Originally the seller promised to send a replacement item which never came then i went to dispute his products and he came up with the excuse i never sent the faulty items back.

So in a response to ebays request he forwarded to me a return address which cost me over $50 to post back.

The item is awaiting pick up at the nominated post office according to the tracking number aust post have told me this.

I have numerous emails show how this seller is untruthful and is still continuing to sell faulty items to unsuspecting buyers.

I love ebay and what it stands for and Paypal cannot be faulted. This seller lead me on until the dispute resolution time ended and then stopped returning emails inwhich as you have told me it is to late to make right.

It has now cost me more than the orignal price of the item. I want my money back asap and to make others aware of this sellers bad reputation.

I wish i had read his reviews before commiting to the sale.

i learn from my mistakes and now do a backround check before committing to sale.

Please give me some idea into which direction i shoud take.

cheers

I'm hoping that others may have some better ideas than I do, but it's entirely possible that he intentionally gave you an incorrect return address because he had no intention of picking it up or refunding you, particularly as your 45-day claim period with Paypal had expired.

in your case I'd be making enquiries with the PO to which you returned the item to see if they'll send it back to you as unclaimed, as you've done your dough, so that's about all you're going to be able to recover from this unfortunate business.

BTW, you have 60 days from the sale date to leave feedback for your seller, so if that period has not yet expired, at least you can leave him a well-deserved red dot for his trouble.
