Today I received a dress I purchased from a US seller.
It was advertised as NWOT
On inspection It was indeed NOT NWOT!
Damaged with holes, unstitched alterations etc, you get the picture ...
I contacted the seller immediately regarding the matter and want to send back the dress for a refund as I feel it is my right to do.
The seller is now saying that it was in perfect condition when they sent it, saying I am a scammer wanting a dress for free and now saying that the postal system damaged the dress in transit!
Sheesh!
All I have asked for is a refund and to send it back to them!
In my over 10 years of purchasing on eBay this one is the worst person I have ever dealt with!
Of course over the years I have been disappointed with the occasiional purchase but this b.tc. takes the cake!
Oh yeah, she charged me $40 US to post it and the postage came to around $6 US altogether, but I cannot claim on that of course ...
Just my rant.
I feel a bit better now ![]()

Open INAD in paypal, take photo's of the item to support your claim, the seller has to pay return postage cost for INAD and so long as you send it back to the address the seller provides, and make sure you use a postage method that is acceptable to paypal, you will get your refund.
Sadly, you agreed to a highly inflated original postage cost, and you will not be reimbursed for that.
So depending on the cost of the item, up to you if you go for the dispute.
A negative feedback will warn others about this seller.
edited to say: Can not see any record in you purchase history less than 6 months, if this is the case, then you have left it too long to claim and too long for feedback.

To add you only have 30 days to open an INAD with eBay through the MBG, depending on which dress it is you only have a couple of days to do that.
Be aware that you can only open a dispute with eBay OR Paypal not both, if you go with eBay's MBG the seller will have to pay return postage as harley has said, with Paypal you have to pay the return postage.

If it's this dress, then you need to open the eBay dispute tonight, or you may run out of time. As mentioned, use the eBay dispute, not PayPal, so you are refunded the postage cost too.

It may have been because I purchased on the eBay US site that may be because it doesn't show as a recent purchase. Or maybe it could be because this seller chose to send the dress to me about 2 weeks after I paid, the day I purchased as well ... I don't know. But I did purchase and pay in January

Yep I have done that. I think I can go ahead with everything from tomorrow (Feb 13 our time in Aus.)

Yep that's the one. I have opened the dispute and hopefully from tomorrow I will be able to upscale my dispute. Thank God I paid via PayPal!

Thank you everyone for your support and solutions too. I will update this post as I am informed along the way from eBay.
