I have payed for an item, and have been waiting a whole week out of the estimated delivery date. I have tried contacting the seller in many ways but have been unsuccesful. I would now like to contact eBay as I want this to be resolved. I would either like to know when my item has been posted or I would like a refund.
Could you help me out and tell me how to contact eBay?

Hi Joann, did you pay via paypal? If so you need to open a dispute with them in the resolution centre when you log into your Paypal acct. In my experience, some sellers will respond to an email from Paypal but not from Ebay! On the top right hand of the screen there is the the link to Customer Support, all the answers and detailed instructions of how to do things are listed there, just type in Opening a dispute.
Hope you get it resolved quickly!

If it is the shoes from Victoria it does not mean you have been scammed. How far do the shoes have to travel....it could take 3 weeks or more for them to go from Victoria to WA or North Queensland and the times quoted in ebay are mostly unrealistic.
Have you checked with your local post office to see if they are awaiting collection...it is not unusual for the postie to forget to leave a card, or it blows away.
If you paid with paypal, how did you fund the payment...if it was funded with your bank account it is an e-cheque and the seller has to wait for it to clear before posting.
The seller has nothing listed at the moment so may not be on their computer every day. Have you allowed enough time for them to get your messages?
As a last resort you can open a paypal dispute for Item Not Received but your refund will not be instant....the seller is allowed 10 days to respond after you have escalated the dispute to a claim.

would seem NOT. and ebay hiding the SiteMap on the bottom line of every page, when it used to be at the top of every page, did not help either.
my guess is the majority of buyers / and sellers / go to www.ebay.com.au and just START bidding ..... voila!!!

What do you mean anymore? I have been around on the boards long enough to realise that hardly anyone ever read the terms, conditions and policies of ebay or Paypal when they signed up and they certainly didn't read any of the advice given to new sellers and buyers. heck they don't even read the listings or what it says about buyer protection in Paypal when they pay any more now than they did years ago.
I don't really see any problem with the site map link being at the bottom of the page, that is where it is placed on most sites and these newbies who get into strife would never have known it be anywhere else so the bottom of the page would be the logical place to find it.

Just so you are aware, the estimated delivery date is just a date that ebay has guessed. It is not put there by the seller. ebay uses a best guess using Australia Posts expected delivery times and the sellers handling times. It is not always very accurate and can even be many many days out at times.
Also, if you (or the seller) are in SE Queensland, there in an issue at the moment with parcels taking 3 & 4 weeks that usually only take a few days.
