but relisted soon after. There is a legal matter brewing and I thought I kept a copy  of the add but its seems to have gone

eBay don't keep them past about 90 days.

Try googling the item number and/or description. It MIGHT be cached by them somewhere.

Unfortunately as dave said, 90 days is about the limit.

You need to store them on your computer for future reference.

Check the sellers listings, they may have relisted again.
